Toast & Tales with Gary Neville & David Beckham

What an unforgettable evening!

Team Spark Capital PWM had the privilege of attending Toast & Tales – an exclusive fireside chat with Salford City FC co-owners Sir David Beckham and Gary Neville, hosted by DreamSetGo at the Four Seasons, Mumbai.

If you grew up in the 90s, David Beckham was more than a footballer – he was a phenomenon. The curling free kicks. The iconic number 7. The posters on bedroom walls. The hairstyles we tried (and failed) to replicate. The redemption story that taught a generation about resilience. David Beckham wasn't just a footballer we admired – he was the reason many of us fell in love with the game.

But what truly sets Beckham apart is how seamlessly he's translated on-pitch excellence into off-pitch success. From building Inter Miami CF into a global brand, to his ventures in fashion, fragrance, and now co-ownership of Salford City FC – he's redefined what it means to be a modern sporting entrepreneur. The same discipline, vision, and work ethic that made him one of football's greats continues to drive everything he touches.

Hearing him and Gary Neville share stories, insights, and lessons from their remarkable journeys was truly inspiring for our team.

Our gratitude to DreamSetGo and Salford City FC for curating such a memorable experience. Evenings like these remind us why sport has the power to inspire generations.
